Create a Professional Zombie Character From Start to Finish

Step into the world of film and television special effects makeup and learn how professional artists transform actors into realistic undead creatures. In this hands-on one-day workshop, students will work in pairs to create realistic zombie makeup effects using professional products and techniques used throughout the film, television, haunted attraction, and cosplay industries.

Whether you're a beginner, aspiring makeup artist, filmmaker, actor, cosplayer, haunted attraction performer, or horror enthusiast, this workshop will introduce you to the essential products, tools, and techniques used by industry professionals to create convincing zombie characters.

No previous experience required.

Student Hands-On Training

This workshop is designed as a partner-based learning experience. Students will work in pairs throughout the day, taking turns applying makeup and effects to one another while receiving guidance and feedback from the instructor.

Working on a live subject allows students to gain valuable real-world experience with skin preparation, prosthetic application, painting techniques, and character finishing while learning the challenges and considerations of applying special effects makeup on another person.

No Experience Required

All makeup products, prosthetics, airbrush equipment, blood effects, materials, tools, and supplies are fully provided by the instructor for the duration of the workshop. Students do not need to bring anything with them.
