From capturing realistic skin textures to fabricating exposed anatomy and applying realistic blood effects, students will experience the process of creating a convincing anatomical prop from start to finish.
Special Instructor Demonstration: Creating a Realistic Severed Human Arm
Throughout the workshop, Dallas Harvey will demonstrate the process of lifecasting a live model's hand and forearm up to the elbow, creating a silicone duplicate, and fabricating it into a realistic severed arm prop. Students will see professional mold making, silicone casting, pigmentation, and advanced FX painting techniques used to achieve realistic skin tones, textures, and gore finishing.
