In this hands-on dental acrylic teeth & nail FX workshop, students are introduced to professional techniques used to design and create custom creature and character teeth and nail effects for film, theatre, cosplay, and special events. The workshop focuses on safe, industry-standard materials and workflows, with an emphasis on realism, durability, and performance-ready results.
One Saturday | 10-Hour Workshop | 10AM–8PM
What you will learn:
- Introduction to dental acrylic materials
- Dental teeth casting & safety
- Sculpting custom tooth shapes
- Molding & casting acrylic teeth
- Safe handling and curing techniques
- Coloring, distressing, and finishing
- Safe fitting for models/actors
- Making FX nails and small acrylic pieces
All materials provided. No experience required.
All acrylic, life casting products, materials, tools, and supplies are fully provided by the instructor for the duration of the class. Students do not need to bring anything with them, and no prior sculpting or special effects experience is required. This workshop is designed to be beginner-friendly while still teaching professional, industry-standard techniques in a hands-on learning environment.
