WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:DAY 1: Flat Molds – 3D Transfer Prosthetics & Silicone Encapsulated Prosthetics

Saturday, June 6, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

In this intensive hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the full process of creating professional flat mold prosthetics from start to finish.

By the end of the day, you’ll have created your own custom prosthetic sculptures, silicone molds along with both 3D Bondo transfer prosthetics and silicone gel-filled encapsulated prosthetics to take home.

You’ll learn:

•  Professional prosthetic design for wounds, gore, and fantasy
•  Sculpting flat prosthetics for transfers and silicone applications
•  Creating 4–6 custom prosthetic sculpts in clay
•  Silicone mold-making for your designs
•  Custom bondo mixes and skin-tone tinting
•  Silicone mixing and realistic coloration
•  Fabricating 2–3 transfer prosthetics and 2–3 encapsulated silicone pieces
•  Working with bald cap plastic and advanced encapsulation methods

DAY 2: Full Face Prosthetics – Foam Latex & Silicone (Fantasy & Realism)

Sunday, June 7, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

This advanced session focuses on full face prosthetic design and fabrication, taught through detailed “cooking show” style demonstrations combined with intensive lab-based learning.

You’ll gain insight into the full pipeline used in professional FX shops for both foam latex and silicone prosthetics.

Instructor demonstrations include:

•  Character concept design for full face prosthetics
•  Sculpting a professional "film ready" fantasy character prosthetic on an actor's lifecast (tools, methods, detailing & finishing techniques)
•  Creating realistic anatomy, forms, and skin texture with advanced prosthetic sculpting tools
•  Preparing, flashing and molding sculptures in plaster
•  Foam latex prosthetic fabrication (releasing, mixing foam formulas, running foam)
•  Silicone tinting, mixing and pro tips for realism and fantasy
•  Encapsulated "gel filled" silicone prosthetic fabrication from start to finish
•  Demolding and sealing a full face encapsulated silicone prosthetic

BONUS!! Students will also receive a custom set of DHFX prosthetic sculpting tools!
